Taxonomy

Definition

A taxonomy is a list of options from which a user chooses one or more as an answer.
Example:
For the information 'Country of Residence', the taxonomy 'Countries' can be used as the list of options to choose an answer from.

Options

Option
Description
Key
Describes the contents of the taxonomy. The key must be written in PascalCase, e.g. AccountHolder, PowerOfAttorney.
Sub-taxonomy
Group individual elements of a taxonomy that have an additional characteristic in common into a sub-taxonomy.
Example: In the taxonomy 'Countries', group all member states of the European Union into a sub-taxonomy 'EUCountries' and countries that are deemed high risk into the sub-taxonomy 'HighRiskCountries'.
Sorting
Alphabetically: the taxonomy's items will be presented in alphabetical order.
Manually: determine the order of the taxonomy's item yourself.
Possible Values
Enter the taxonomy's items in key: value format. For example, for currencies, this looks like:
aud: Australian Dollar
chf: Swiss Franc
eur: Euro
usd: US Dollar
