USERS, USER_ROLES and USER_GROUPS

Anywhere in rules, you can refer to the users of Atfinity, their roles and their user groups.

USERS

Write the email address of the user as a text in square brackets:

USERS['jane.doe@bank.example']

This works for any email address. The letter case of an address written this way does not matter, but an address that comes from an information or a constant has to match the case of the user's address. An address that no user has is reported as a configuration inconsistency.

For an address in lower case with a single dot after the @, you can also write USERS. followed by the address, as in USERS.jane.doe@bank.example.

A user has an email, a first_name and a last_name, for example USERS['jane.doe@bank.example'].first_name.

Example

In a rule that sets the case assignee, you could assign every case to the same user:

USERS['jane.doe@mail.bank.example']

USER_ROLES and USER_GROUPS

Write USER_ROLES. followed by the name of a role, or USER_GROUPS. followed by the name of a user group. The result is that name, and a name that does not exist is reported as a configuration inconsistency. Only a name made of letters, digits and underscores can be written this way.

Example

Compare them with the roles and groups of the case owner from CASE:

CASE.owner_roles contains USER_ROLES.ComplianceOfficer
CASE.owner_groups contains USER_GROUPS.TeamZurich
