ℹ️ What are Integrations?

An integration connects Atfinity to an external system, such as a core banking system, a screening provider or a company register. A rule runs it, sends it values from the case and writes the answer back into information, as Configuring Built in Integrations describes.

The integration framework

Every integration is a YAML file that describes how to talk to the external system: the settings an administrator fills in, the requests to send, how to authenticate, and which values come back. Atfinity runs that description, so a new integration needs no new version of Atfinity.

This is what lets Atfinity build an integration for one client outside the release cycle. Atfinity delivers it as a packaged file that is loaded into your installation, and it appears in the marketplace next to the ones that ship with Atfinity. A later package of the same integration replaces the earlier one.

The language model behind the AI features, the MCP server for AI agents, email and SMS are part of Atfinity itself rather than files in the marketplace. You set them up in the settings of your tenant or of the installation, as their pages describe.
